Fair offer for Boesser. Don't believe Vancouver should do this deal

decent move, depending on what direction Vancouver is going, they still have 2-ish years to get out of the cap hell of Loui, Luo, Sven, Roussel, Beagle and so on.

it's a little overpay but make sense... and Van would have the money to sign Petty

This is a pass for me. I think the value is fair but it's a matter of money. If there are no fans in stands till 2022 or later when Boeser commands 8 million then it's to much money to be paid out while Caufield would still be on a cheap ELC and hope fully still producing 20 goals.

That’s probably the most equal trade offer I’ve seen for BB on this site

I doubt either team is worried about money.

Vancouver might be worried about Cap room in the present, and Montreal might be worried more about current production vs. future production.

If the cap doesnt increase as much as it was projectd then Boeser at a minimum of 7.5 would be troublesome as they try to resign eveeryone else.

true, but at the time of signing, that's where prioritizing comes into play.

so, 2 seasons of Boeser playing... and still having his RFA rights that can be traded is pretty valuable.

Whereas, Vancouver gets cap relief given they have Petersson and Hughes that will be commanding 8M+ on their next contracts, so a cap controlled asset in Caufield can be attractive, and Mete filling out a 3-5 spot on Defense depending on his development at a reasonable contract too.

All depends on what they would want.

Ow ya I think the value is there, I would just prefer MTL go with the youthful core with Caufield growing with thier young centers and using the cap space to use it as an advantage in a year or 2
