I'd want some stronger wingers to help Jugs, or just put McCann at 2C. Also I think Lowry is more likely to be moved than Copp.

Like Brossoit and Hamonic signing. Really like Beaulieu as a 6-7 dman but a little high in salary. Not crazy about the other UFA signing as some of them are not regular NHLers. If I was Winnipeg I would say no to the trades.

It would have to start with at least 1 first round pick. It would have to not include Andrew Copp. It would have to have an actual #2 Center, and a top 4 defenseman.

If I thought Laine being traded was remotely possible, it would look something like this:

WPG gets:
C - Vincent Trochek
D - Brett Pesce
2020 - 1st round pick
at least one 2021 conditional pick

CAR gets:
RW Patrik Laine

That's likely the minimum a GM would look for, in return for a 22 year old point/game player... Which is why neither he or Nik Ehlers are getting traded.

I dont want to trade laine period !! The Jets need to build their team around Laine . Thats why I proposed trading Ehlers . I dont want to trade Ehlers either but then what? lol.

There are better ways to go about improving the team than trading any of their top 6 forwards.
