There is so much Wrong here.

I would love to see Tuch on a line with Svech and Aho,
But Vegas gives a clear no on that trade

Also, ehat exactly are your plans for next year when Svech and Hamilton need contracts?

At this stage Gardiner is a cap dump, You need to pay us to take him off your hands big time.

All these trades are not good but the canes did add a lot for the wings. Foegele is a good young player in the middle 6

Wings want more upside, they'd rather have a 1st and hope to hit a homerun than take an ideal 3rd liner who can give you 30-40 pts. If Svech could get/stay healthy he could very well produce similar numbers with top 9 opportunity.

Svech re-signs using the $2M from Martinook, $2.1M from Mcginn and $2.3M from Semin on a bridge deal so he can play with his brother.
Hamilton re-signs using $4.25M from Raanta.

We still have $2.3M cap space and Seattle takes Skjei/Bean/Fleury/Hinostroza/Geekie. Maybe give them a 2nd to take Skjei. It's not hard to pay these guys.

If it is such a hard no from VGK then what needs to be added?

I did. Foegele is a proven, young, middle 6 who would be the 4th best forward in you line-up. Gardiner would help your power play and lead your D in points..

Foegele (and Gardiner honestly) has more upside than 90% of your roster. I'm confused.

Fourth best forward in our lineup is debatable, Larkin, Bertuzzi, Mantha, Fabbri all better numbers best season 30 points on a stacked Carolina team. And we've no use for Gardiner very likely we're going to sign Krug to help with our PP.

Unless they have crazy faith in svech id do that deal in a second. Gardiner isn't perfect but hes an nhl defensman and foegle is a good young player. If they move raanta they keep keumper amd they have no need for reimer

You have "no use" for an NHL level defenseman who scored more points than any defenseman on your team, when you only have 3 defenseman signed to contracts for 20-21 and only one of them played in over 75% of your games in 19-20? I'm going to stop there, for obvious reasons.

Nope, Gardiner contract is not good, if you want us to take it you add or can keep the contract
