A little less than Vatanen (Vatanen is weaker defensively, but the significantly better offense makes up for it, besides Vatanen's best partner has been Fowler, who is definitely worse than Ekholm in every aspect of the game, and doesn't play as much shelter minutes), it's Vatanen's contract that makes him not worth even more (His contract is still fair though, just not great like Ellis').

How about:

Oilers give up: RNH, Davidson, and 2nd rounder.
Jets give up: Trouba, and Dano.
Nashville gives up: Ekholm, Ellis, and Wilson/Jarnkrok.

Oilers receive: Dano, Ellis, and Wilson/Jarnkrok.
Jets receive: Ekholm.
