Description

1) CBJ has grit, needs skill. Rangers have skill coming, need grit. Draft picks needed to be far out because CBJ doesn't have a lot of draft capital now. 2) COL could be a good landing spot for Staal as they bring in playoff tested veteran. Staal had solid year and would common roughly $3m as a UFA (at least in a normal cap year) 3) CAR trade similar to one with CBJ as Tony D proved to be a dynamic offensive force on PP and 3 on 3 OT. Pesce not as flashy but steadier on D at a nice cap hit.

Staal isn't worth a 3M cap hit and COL has tons of LHD anyway, he wouldn't crack their top 6 next year

canes pass hard. 1) pesce isn't getting moved. 2) if pesce gets moved, there's no reason to move him for another d man especially one who is gonna command more money. 3) bean is coming up and provides everything tony d does without being racist lol.
