Game 4 Idea

Description
Eberle has been struggling and I’ve liked the way Brass has played on the wing throughout the playoffs. IF (IF!) Cizikas is healthy, I think you give Eberle some more sheltered minutes to get his confidence up, possibly get a boost from a different albeit hot forward and let’s see if Brass’ improved play can hold its own on the first line. I don’t imagine it being any worse than Eberle on the first line. Down the lineup, put Ross back in, we got pushed around way too much last game. Whenever Tampa can get a guy in front of Varly, they score. Get the big guys on the ice and don’t let them do that. I’d also say MDC should stay in. He’s not amazing, but he played like was hungry in game 3 and he does the little things right. His hustle combined with a clutch presence from Pageau could bring out the best in Eberle.

Honestly, I think that's a great idea. Just try it for a period. Brassard should be in every game imo with the way he played against Philly and I think you could maximize his offensive potential by putting him on a more purely offensive line. My one concern is whether or not he'll be able to keep up with Barzal, but I think once they get into the zone, he could be the perfect triggerman for him.

I like the idea but I don’t think Dal Colle & Johnston should both be in the line up. Matt Martin has been all over this series, he should be getting one of those spots. cheers

I agree, not the biggest fan of Martin, but he has been great.

If I had to sit either player for Martin, I guess I'd sit Johnston. I've like his play these playoffs, and after last night we REALLY need to be more physical, but he just looked lost earlier this series. MDC's been skating hard and I feel like he could provide the third line a lot of energy, especially if accompanied by Pageau and Eberle.
