You're essentially paying Jost 4.75m to be a worse 3C than Bozak would be thiscoming season. I think it would be better to get nothing in return for Bozak, just shed the money and use an internal replacement at 3C like Sundqvist or Thomas (if he is kept out of the top 6 any longer). Tarasenko probably comes off LTIR mid-season and then this roster is screwed. Not really sure about the $2m 14th forward either - Blues just signed DLR at $700k to be that guy.

Avs dont need Bozak when looking at the other side of this trade, they have already too many options for a 3C, especially wiht already what they have committed to Compher. THe logic behind this trade doesnt really add up for the Avs side of things either
