Benning has already said that he won't move picks to move cap-space. Even if that wasn't true, a 1st & 3rd for 2-years of Loui is too steep given that he's owed $8M over the next 2 years. Ottawa likely takes Loui with Virtanen's rights and a 3rd. Stop getting your contract and trade ideas from NHL 20.

After missing their first two years in a row, Arizona isn't going to trade their 2022 first just to get rid of Stepan. At worst, they'll trade him for below market value.
