Honestly, I don't see Minnesota not taking Lundell in their situation.

If they thought that they're contending this year and that he'd be likely to play 2C right away, I'd agree with you. But the Staal/MoJo deal suggests that they're thinking more about 21-22 than 20-21, and by then, a cheap, top-notch defenseman will be like manna from heaven for them. I could ABSOLUTELY see you being right, though, depending on Guerin's philosophy.

Also, a lot of my comments got cut off or deleted, for reasons I don't understand.
