I never said anything about what you need 2 years from now. Sorry not sure how Georgiev is the best goalie, our D sucks and Mikkos numbers are still better. Lias would be on your team if he could skate, but he cant keep up to NHl players, that is why nobody wants him, but he will have a long career in the KHL eventually.

Oilers D cant play Defense, cant move the puck up. At least your right side can do that. Fox is better than our whole D core. Your left side is terrible, I will admit that. If we combined oilers left side with Rangers right side. It would be not to bad. Lias Andersson has foot speed problems and that is all over Edmontons media, that is why that JP for Andersson trade never happened. #AskHolland And I also know that Rangers fans sure dont want Georgiev as a starter and are sketchy on him being one, thats why he is always the trade bate, like cap wise it would be smarter to have Gerorgiev and Shesterkin. Lunquist should be bought out, otherwise when he retires you have one guy left (the best goalie in the NHL) but only one. Mikko is still a lot better than Georgiev and both have had 2 years on the small ice. Just Mikko is over paid by a million. But in all that, Georgiev will maybe maybe fetch a 2nd round pick. Goalies never ever go as high as everyone thinks. I think in the past 20 years only 4 times has a goalie fetched a 1st, Lehner was twice of the 4.

That was after the Lias thing didnt work out. Stauffer who works for the Oilers said Lias for Jp straight up or JP for Eriksson Ek straight up. But than Eriksson Ek started playing awesome and we must have snoozed on him and Lias had foot speed problems. After Jp had a blistering 1st year in Finland, his value went up and now he is on a tear in pre season, he is 12 points ahed of the next guy in the standings, his value is going up again.

I am not sure what you are expecting out of those 2 players, but I could switch the second to Ott's second which is close to a first. Kassian would bring some toughness that I have noticed a lot of Ranger posters wanting. Samorukov is a top notch LD prospect and I am loath to trade him, but to get a goalie I would look at it.

Lias would only be moved for a 2nd or a equal level reclamation project.

Georgiev would cost 2 2nds or a impactful NHL player or higher end prospect. Samorukov is a LHD which we do not need.

no way i would do that trade if i am the oilers. Samorukov is going to be a great D and a 2nd...... free agency is where i would look first. we have a great core
