The Kings are past the cap floor. They have no need to spend 2 picks to pick up 11.5 mil in cap hit, no mater if they intend to flip them.

The Kings won't take either of those players. Too much salary/term. They will need to give extensions to the kids before that $11.5M falls of the books.

Previously I was against it and still wonder what they would have to do at the expansion draft but now if I think about it if you can add a top 5 damn to your lineup you have to go get him

You can always bridge some of those guys. Thought behind it is rebuilds generally require more picks, generally higher than 4ths. Maybe the Kings aren't right, maybe the Sens, Wings, or Devils then.

Sure, and if Philly was sending back higher picks to LA, they might consider it. The only way that LA is taking back that much salary is if its as a dump if they're being compensated for it with picks/prospects.

Detroit probably says no to jvr but ghost they may take. If you want jvr gone to a rebuildteam theyre gonna make you give something to move the 7 million.
