No he looked good in 2018 playing top 6 mins. You don’t trade the kid locked up for 6 more years under 5 when Marshy was a ghost in the playoffs.

If Domi were a right hand shot he would be more useful to the Sabres. He’s not a center and they already have more left wingers than they can use.

And besides the 2021 first, (which doesn’t help a team competing for a cup) the players going back are worse. I just don’t like this deal at all.

I had him in my hockey pool in 2018 and he literally was the player who won me the championship. I think he's the real deal and is just breaking out.

Not sure how Montreal "Loses every trade" tho. You get Statsny for one year, then his caphit is gone which helps us for next year(Flat Cap). You get a top prospect from WPG who can replace Tatar if he isn't signed to an extension. You trade four 2020 picks, two 2021 picks, Lehkonen, Danault, Kulak, Domi, Byron and Leskinen and you gain a 2021 1st, Vesalainen (Highly skilled winger), Tuch, Statsny,Montour and two 2020 picks. Tuch > Lehkonen & Byron for less money, Vesalainen > Domi and we don't have to pay more then the ELC for another couple years (saves cap during flat cap), Danault < Statsny I agree on this point, Kulak = Montour (we just need that RD and Kulak is LD and we obviously want Romanov to play....no point to have Kulak if he sits and I personally rather a 3rd pair RD then another LD). and Leskinen is what you sacrifice to get rid of the Karlzner contract and we are stonked on LD prospects anyway. Plus we draft RD Braden Schneider with our 16 OA.

Danault >>>>> Stastny
Vesalainen = Poehling so Domi >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Vesalainen
Schneider = Juulsen same type of player, no offense but good stay at home D. We already have that in Juulsen and Fleury
Lehkonen + 1st > Tuch

Montour ? Wtf we don’t need Montour

Anyway there’s so many things wrong here I’ll just block you you are a lost case

Block me on an internet forum. Like I care. But I am not the one who is a lost case. I actually agreed that Danault was better then Statsny, but you get a RW signed for a bargain for 6 (SIX) years. That is worth a helluva lot more then Danault for one more year. The Stastny part of the trade was only so we didn't have to give as much. We don't need Lehkonen if we are keeping Armia (PS They are the SAME type of player). The first was to entice VGK to do the trade. Vesalainen is worth a lot more then Poehling (he wasn't even traded so wtf). And Domi is not as good on the wing as he is at center and we DONT NEED more centers with Zuke and KK. Schneider is for RD depth, but can be interchanged with any of the middle draft wingers like Mercer or Quinn. And Montour for 2 years gives our prospects more time to develop. If the ACTUAL GM thinks that Cale Fleury or Noah Juulsen (or in the off chance Josh Brook is ready), you trade Domi for a 1st. Anyway I hope you do have me blocked because every comment you post that is not on your own thread is you thinking everyone elses proposals are dumb.

the only L is the buffalo trade. The Winnipeg trade is really good for MTL (probably too much), Vegas also wont trade Tuch unless its a gross overpay, and no one is touching Alzner

If you want Tuch that badly, trade the 16th OA vs Tuch straight up if you want. Trade Domi and Danault for picks if you want and then take Stastny for free if you want ( yes they would gave you Stastny for a 4th if no salary retained ). OMG never seen someone overvaluing Vesalainen like you. Even Jets fans aren’t that hype, Vesalainen is in the same place Poehling is. Both drafted almost at the same time but had a hard start in the AHL. Both played better at the end, so that’s good, but he’s a B+ prospect. Domi is a legit top6 C.

Juulsen Mete can’t go to Laval so you need to keep them with the club. Kulak will play on is offside not a big deal.

And no I don’t think everyone else’s proposal are dumbs, but we got 1 realistic out of 30 on this website.

For the WPG trade drop Kulak and it’s fair but even with Kulak isn’t not a lost so I apologize on that one.
Alzner contract isn’t that bad, 3.6M for 2 years being in the minors. MTL would do that for the 2 last years, NJ DET could take him easily for picks.

Thank you. Reasonable opinion from someone neutral. The overpay to VGK is exactly how I saw it too. But Tuch is so good that he's worth doing the trade above. And yeah Alzner's contract sucks donkey butt which is why I gave up one of our better LD prospects plus two second round picks. So for a rebuilding team, thats potentially 3 young assets for 2 years of capspace which they wouldn't need in the next 2 years anyway

I think with the Alzner contract, at the moment, MTL can just bury him in the minors anyways. so there is no point in paying assets to move him. they aren't near the cap ceiling anyways

Anyway Marc Bergevin SAID he’s not trading any dman and isn’t signing any dman. So they’ll go Chiarot-Weber Edmundson-Petry Romanov-Kulak and Mete Juulsen #7-8 dman
