None of these trades are essentially bad, they just don't really make this team better.

Unless Bishop goes back to pre-2019-2020 goaltending, Turris doesn't disappear, and Galchenyuk goes back to scoring 30 goals.
a lot of what-if's

No to the Neal deal why trade for a worse contract with more yrs on it makes zero sense and it makes this team worse longer.

I agree with you but it is still a better team than last year with these add-on IMO... and everything at a cheap cost (no prospect, no 1st given)
Well job OiLeakOver

marginally better, i'll agree, and that relies solely on if Bishop gets his game back.

Bishop is better risk than Smith
Galch is a better risk than AA
Turris C depth is always good and better than Neal as Turris can play defensively with Nuge
But I am not saying that they become a cup pretender... more a better CupSuspect

They are still a couple years away but want to improve without mortgaging the future. Thanks for the insight.

Glach might come cheaper then AA too. But I don't think Turris for Neal straight up is fair value. Turris hasn't produced points as well as Neal just speaking last 4 seasons. Including Neal in Calgary. We already retained some cash on Lucic for Neal. The extra year plus 250000 or whatever is to much when it all said and done. When I read the rumour for this trade it stated Nashville would have to add a sweatner to make it happen. Turris does solve the 3C problem but will cost way to much cap wise. Would rather have Neal and solve it some other way.

Pre 19-20 bishop? He was good this year just injury prone which everyone knows. Get him and a half decent backup and you're good.

Khudobin was better, and Bishop isht the bed in his 3 playoff appearances.

Just because Khudobin was better doesn't mean Bishop was bad. I also wouldn't call a .921, .939, and .933 in the playoffs ****ting the bed.

what part of "go back to pre-2019-2020" were you struggling with?... those are all pre-2019-2020 numbers you quoted.

his 2019-2020 playoffs was a 5.43 and .844 in 3 game played.... therefore, ****ting the bed.

Ok miss understood what you meant. I thought you meant the other 3 years he was in the playoffs. If the 3 games he played this year he was hurt in at least 2 and the Vegas game if I’m not mistaken was the first game back from the break and was a round robin which players have said they didn’t care about and just treated like pre season.
