No interest in Greenway. Been a disappointment after a great WJC a few years ago.

I like it but Minny likely passes on that.

Ya and so has Bjork, This gives the Bruins size in the lineup with a little bit more production.

Sweeney didn't just sign Bjork to a 3 year deal just to trade him in the offseason.

You still have $7M to make a necessary upgrade at either RW or LD. IMO the Bruins need to get top 4 two-way d-man.

It happens though, OEL just signed an extension and might get traded.

There has been significant chatter of a Bjork to EDM for Chiasson. Lots of traction.

This is much better than 1 year of Chiasson.

Minnesota declines as Greenway is a unique player of offering size and decent scoring production. It just seems this trade favors a Boston need way more than a Minnesota need. I can't imagine Minnesota trades Greenway unless the offer blows them away.

The Moore trade isn't terrible. I don't know if they'd accept that, but it doesn't seem far off. I mean for a 6th round pick you're getting a #6-#7 dman and a potential bottom 6 winger so I don't know if they'd say no. I think it would be harder for Boston to part ways with Senyshyn, I strongly believe there's still bottom 6 potential there. He didn't look too out of place during his short stint with Boston.

As for the lineups, you did a pretty good job. I also have Frederic making the 4th line out of camp. Grzelcyk is a little too expensive, but for 3 years I'd be fine with that. I prefer he gets 4 years minimum, if it was a tad bit cheaper that'd be a great contract.

Jake Debrusk isn't getting 4 years, that would take him into UFA status. He's either getting 2 years or 3 years around the same price.

Zdeno Chara more than likely gets 1.5 at the bare minimum. MAYBE a million, but he would have to accept that.

I don't like Lauzon and Carlo together, I'd rather have them experiment a Vaakanainen or Zboril at that spot to begin the season.

Besides that, this is solid. Defense is just questionable with Krug leaving when it shouldn't be because #13 pick Zboril and #18 pick Vaakanainen are questionable NHL players for next season when we all expected them to be ready.

Improve the pick to a 3rd or replace with a decent prospect maybe. Even then it’s iffy. They are a disappointed with JG but not enough to do something like this. Unless they are high on Bjork.

“A little more production” Bruins need more production not a little. Slight upgrades are not what Sweeney needs to do.

Until a player is actually moved, that’s where all rumors come from. Teams don’t generally go public with trade talks.

Media are throwing things out as suggestions. When Dregger, LeBrun or McKenzie say a team is in on a player i’ll start to believe it.

I didn't say this si it. I never said that this puts them over the top. Its a small change up which can help the team I think.
