I don't think JR is a good GM at all, but I think you'll be surprised. Matheson is the exact WRONG person to play for Coach Q. I can't say I watched a ton of Florida hockey, but I've watched literally hundreds of Coach Q games as a Hawks fan. I can guarantee just by seeing his ice time that he was in Q's doghouse. Matheson's ATOI dropped by 4 minutes overall and his Feb/March games were in the low teens/some single digits. He'll be better with a different system.
