Olofsson is basically a bootleg Laine. Sabres most likely would pass.

Pionk isn't worth a 1st+2nd+3rd round pick which Detroit is basically giving up, 7 x $10,500,000 for Pietrangelo is a joke that deal will be an albatross towards the end.

Rasmussen hasn't lived up to his potential after a 50 point season trouba landed us a 1st and pionk and he only had a year of control. Pionk has three, for a team to match st louises offer of 64million over 8 years it would be 9.17 * 6. So he'll get somewhere in the 10 to 10.5 range if he moves on

46 points in 60 nhl games at the age of 25 doesn't make him close to Laine 247 points in 305 at the age of 22. They can afford both and most likely get a quality center with there 1st this year

Dude we don't need RD it's a broken record Pionk isn't going to be top 4 over either Hronek or Seider so he's a $3m bottom pairing RD and we can go cheaper routes. As far as Rasmussen is concerned he was out of options in juniors and didn't qualify for Grand Rapids so he pretty much had to play in Detroit and Blashill pretty much misused him the whole time. He was putting up decent numbers in GR until his shoulder injury sidelined him awhile.

Wings are set at RD and we also aren't giving up top picks not Rasmussen. This is a pass from the wings

I'm guessing most sabres fans pass, but I would move cozens and risto for laine

One was a 7th round pick and in their rookie year. They are akin since they are one trick ponies.

I wouldnt move olofsson for Laine, taking a bigger hit for a similar player. I would do cozens and risto for Laine, since it is unquestionably adding to our goal scoring.

I'd respectfully pass on the Sabres deal.

Laine is fantastic, but if we trade Cozens we'd have an even larger long-term hole at 2C than Winnipeg does now. We could definitely use another top 6 RW, but as you guys surely know the 2C spot is a much harder position to fill. I'm not sure we make good trade partners for that reason.

What would you guys think of bringing Stastny back to be your 2C this year? He's rumored to be available if the Knights make a serious run at Pietrangelo, and the Jets could probably take a guy like Lundell at 10 to hopefully take that spot long-term.

BUF has a quality Center prospect in Cozens and is slotted behind Eichel for the forseen future. Laine is a great talent, but we are heavy on the left side, i understand he plays right as well. However, the center position is more valuable in todays game. ANd it looks like we have an all star in the making, that being said, BUF passes

At some point yes youll be set at rhd but you can't form an entire team of 19-23 year olds. Ask ednomton how that worked out.
