MIN trade seems like a lateral trade, nylander will be cheaper, younger, and would rather wait another year or two to see improvements.

Crouse is good but would rather keep kurashev.

I think Minnesota is in a similar boat. I think they would rather keep Greenway because he has the tools to be very good if he figures it out.

I think being in the same Division makes it less likely also. I don't think either GM wants to end up being the loser of the trade in 2 years because one breaks out and the other doesn't.

Nylander deserves one more year in Chicago. Greenway deserves one more in Minny. Both players have real big years next year and both have been criticized for their “effort”. I just think if Hawks stick to dump and chasing pucks they’re going to need some size. Just shame that these guys are stuck in the Central and these trades are not happening.
