What would an Eriksson to Ottawa trade look like? Pieces like Virtanen, Stetcher, picks, DiPietro, etc. would probably be in play.

as a Sens fan, i loved watching Dipietro play for the 67s. Id for sure be interested in him, maybe a 2nd round pick as well

I don’t think Bozak would cost a 3rd, and I feel like Duclair is worth more than Bean. Yes Bean is a good prospect, but he has yet to make the leap, and Duclair is a fast 20-goal guy. We can also afford to lock Cernak up long term (6x4.5 maybe?). That would put us just above the floor.

why does OTT trade their best LD prospect a good winger prospect for a RD they have absolutely no need for....Brännström, Erik is for all intent and purpose a RD, he prefers RD and has been playing RD with the baby sens.

Doesn't Ottawa already have Gustavsson as a young goalie? Just curious.

before wasting assets lets see how Zub, JBD and Thompson do, rather try and get Cirelli from tampa than a RD we do not need. + a good change Dorion draft Drysdale....and lets not forget next year the draft is Dman draft so OTT might get a RD next year if they do not draft Drysdale this year

we have Gustavsson, Sogard, Daccord all could potentially be NHL goalies but no one is sure fire or consistent enough.

i like it but im wondering if Dorion asks for a bit more. Im pretty sure most teams would be asking for Demko attached to Eriksson but im sure Van would prefer to let Markstrom walk and keep Demko (best thing they can do imo)

That carolina trade seems fair and makes sense. I think carolina has intentions on putting bean in the lineup by moving skjei or gardiner but if this is offered they might take it.

It’s more so a expansion draft thing. They have too many D to protect
