IF the Wild acquired the Jets #1, I definitely would not flip it and Greenway for Strome!

Guerin would probably add Fiala with half retained.

Put it this way; would you rather gamble on Lundell at the #10 pick or grab a proven 2C in Strome? I think Lundell has a 2C ceiling and a 4C floor personally, although he's probably the most NHL ready in the draft, but he needs to figure out how to play offense because aside from a good wrist shot, he hasn't shown enough so for to be a 2C in the NHL. If he can't figure out how to put an offense game together he will be a 3C in the league. If I'm the Wild, I'd take Strome over Lundell. Strome at the age of 21 and 22 averaging .70ppg.

I wouldn't necessarily prefer it, but not really any better centermen that could likely be acquired in the Central. Figure if we make these moves, our center depth has improved, so we take Askarov at 9OA.

I'd just keep the pick. Take Lundell and a potential high upside player like Jarvis (probably a wing in the NHL but he has played center) or Lapierre. Otherwise grab Askarov and roll the dice on one of those guys.

That's fair, I was mainly just going for a trade with every divisional opponent and that was one I remember having been thrown out there. Could just switch it to a Zack Smith cap dump or like a De Haan or Maata trade and use the picks. Just not really looking forward to watching Johansson at 1C.

Neither am I. I'm still holding out hope that teams will get desperate once free agency has opened up and are willing to move a good center, but we'll see. I've warmed up to this idea but I'm still not convinced Roslovic is a) a center and b) can produce like a top 6 player in the NHL. He has been given tons of opporuntites to succeed in WPG and at this point he hasn't. Maybe he'd be like a Strome or Domi and would break out on another team, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
