There’s not a team out there that’s giving up equal value to what you proposed the islanders should trade for him.

That’s like Montreal trading kotkaniemi, caulfield , and domi for Laine. It’s not happening.

The rumored trade for him is toews, wahlstrom , and a 1st. Toews would immediately become Winnipeg’s best defenseman. No knock against morrissey, but toews has been better over the last two years.

Agree. That Laine trade is trash.... Gonna have to be AT LEAST Wahlstrom and a D-man plus a top draft pick (I'm an Isles fan).
