Really. I thought I overdid that package heavily. Armia is very solid 2-way player Hillis decent B prospect and the 2nd is over the top.

I really like Puljujarvi, so that’s why. I also think that he is a very good winger for McDavid.

There’s still a Question mark that he can’t play with McDavid and needs a change of scenery. Maybe he pans out but if not his value is all but gone and the return wouldn’t be anymore than a 2nd

I would still be willing to take that chance. He’s the type of player you can’t give up on too easily.

At this point, I doubt anyone would offer a 2nd for Puljujarvi.

As the the Buffalo trade.
There is a strong case to be made that Sam for Max one for one is close.
Max in only 8 months older and has only 4 fewer pts in 25 fewer games.
You will not have to get into a food fight with me, this trade greatly favors the Sabres.
I would presume you will get other Sabre AGM to ask for more.

I agree both packages are overdone and I’m ok with adding the sweetness to get them done. In the end we want the upgrade at higher end talent vs the quantity we give up to get them. If we can add players like this it could be a strong run for the Habs over the next 5 years
