Unless Nathan Legare is your top prospect that's not going to cut moving 3 years @ $3,250,000 for Jack Johnson Detroit got a 2nd from the Rangers for one year of Marc Staal it would easily cost Pittsburgh's 2022 1st round pick at minimal. And Detroit sure isn't surrendering a late 2nd round pick either.

I agree. That's not going to work for taking three years of Jack Johnson. Legare + a 2nd for future considerations or Filppula might work, and even then I don't know if it would be enough for the Wings to take that contract.
