Sharks would get more help if they were to simply buyout Jones as opposed to taking another anchor of a contract on in addition to retaining. More likely to just watch him recover to a league average starting goalie again like he did under Nabokov/Boughner after the dunce Deboer got canned. Won't be worth $5.75 mil, but won't have to take on more money to get rid of him and can offer solid enough play.
