I dont think CAR would do that. Goodrow and Coleman only got such big returns since they have very low cap hits relative to what they bring to the team. Imo Jenner is a similar quality player to Coleman but has a much higher cap hit. Plus that 1st is quite a bit higher than what TBL gave up for Coleman or Goodrow. CAR is also is a much better cap position than TBL and wont have to overpay like that to get depth players

Yes I agree CBJ does win value wise but I think we are seeing a trend where contending teams are willing to give up high draft picks for proven players that will be guaranteed to make an impact.
