no it doesnt. he is easily replaceable in FA, and makes way too much money.

Massive over pay on Greiss Edmonton will fill that spot for around 2mil using that extra cap else where

Who's this 3 million dollar "top 6 winger" lol - 3 are available in FA (Hall, Hoffman and Dadonov) none of who are signing that deal - honest curiosity here.

Also if Klefbom is out - Russell will not fill those shoes and I can't see a single FA that would at Klefs price point?

Trade for OEL and move Klef or Nurse when needed

This is more of a close your own adventure. 10.5 M between G, LW & C however you decide

I don’t like OEL’s contract personally and what the yotes are asking. They have their own cap issues and I don’t see them retaining salary

I don’t disagree but this way we wouldn’t have to give anything up for the time being. Pick up a replacement when the UFA market drops

Your right Russel doesn’t fill his shoes but a 3mil ufa and Jones could easily split Klefboms mins
