This would be specifically to get Drysdale. I believe Yzerman plans to draft Drysdale, but Ottawa can’t take him over Stutzle, or Byfield if that’s how it pans out.

I don’t know if Craig Button misspoke or not when he said Drysdale will be the best defenceman in the NHL. I figured he meant a best on team, or maybe the best skating defenceman, but he said best in the NHL. That would make him better than Rasmus Dahlin. This was during the mock draft the other day.

Drysdale is such an incredible skater, accelerates with absolutely no effort. I remember Karlsson before the injury, and Drysdale is so much better.

Edit: there’s a definite drop in talent after the first 4, not a lot, but the top 4 are a tier above, Lafreniere 2 tiers.
