Oh yes, but it’s 2020 so anything’s possible.

This is a no go for VGK. Petro is a nice addition because it doesn’t cost anything. Getting rid of what should be 2/3 of our top 9 centers AND a first just ain’t it

The Leafs paid a 1st to get rid of Marleau who had 1 less year and around $1M less of a cap hit than Fleury, so if you take that into context the trade is essentially Fleury and a first for nothing to dump him (which again you could argue is an underpayment, and the circumstances back then didn't account for the flat cap the next 3 years) and Dumba for Krebs and Quinney. As a Wild fan I'd want more for Dumba, Krebs is promising but still a big question mark.

I get you, but I wouldn’t be interested one iota, especially when you start mentioning Krebs lol

Understandable, but if Vegas misses out on Pietrangelo then don't be shocked if something like this happens...

Would be fitting for how much we’ve messed up this build in 2020 lol

I think Vegas making the cup final may have been one of the worst things that could have happened if you don't win a cup in the next few years. Vegas has traded some key future pieces that they should have kept (mainly Suzuki)

Yeah it’s no bueno. With that said I don’t think Dumba gets us any closer tbh
