Description
As much as I hate to say it, Pietrangelo won't be back. Your ownership and is too cheap and egotistical to be willing to keep your captain and the face of your franchise around even though he wants to remain a Blue for life. Good riddance.

I mean the guy is 30 so maybe signing him long term isn't the best idea. Look at Doughty and Karlsson for reference. It'd be better for them to keep Dunn and Parayko

I agree, imo Parayko is better defensively and still has the possibility to contribute big offensively. Before the shutdown, Parayko was putting up good numbers on the offense side. I think all they need to due is bring in one more guy for the right side bottom pair. They have Dunn, Scandella, and Perunovich/Gunnarsson on the left. Bortuzzo is a better 7th guy so getting another RD would be ideal imo

That's been my thought, if you're not looking at winning cups in the next four years, don't even bother

i've never cried laughing more in my life!

first, i do believe the petro is gone. i don't however believe that the front office is to blame, it's a truly tough deal right now. teams are gonna be stuck with tough decisions w/ a flat cap in the immediate future. do i want to him to re-sign, of coarse but all the blame can't be put on the front office.

second, if petro does indeed leave, the captain will be going to o'reilly. i understand your thinking featuring the long extension, but everybody on the team looks up to o'reilly for not only is passion but his experience and work ethic.

third, i'll bet you anything the blues don't trade binnington. he was solid the whole year, you can't expect him to come off a partial off-season and be in the same shape, and have the same momentum. armstrong has already made it clear that husso has earned his spot for now.

forth, it would be a cold day in hell before they buy-out barbashev. it unfortunately would be steen if they had to buy out anybody.

finally, i do agree with bringing back maroon and luke schenn.
