I’ve given it some thought, and as a Red Wings fan I don’t want Turris, even for a 1st. Sure he had chemistry with Mantha years ago, but he’s not worth $6M in cap space. We’re buying Abdelkader out, Frans is almost done too. No more bad contracts hopefully past 2022 unless we’re heavily compensated. Time to get the show on the road

Yeah im not sure your getting paid to take reimer, i like the turris deal, something seams off about it but everytime i look at it it seems balanced. Maybe im just going to have to accept that it takes a 1st to unload that contract.

Reimer isn’t a cap dump. He’s a competent 1B.
With Abdelkader bought out, it would be unwise to take on contracts that are longer than 2 years imo.

Interesting to hear consensus on the Canes not needing to attach a small asset to take on the Reimer contract.

Thought Stevie may find something there since the Canes are eager to upgrade their Goalie situation.

Think the Wings can to stomach Turris term with Fil & Neilson contracts expiring ('21 & '22).

Was surprised Abby was the Buy out vs Neilson (ie spread over 4 vs 6 yrs)
