Holtby at 6 is a lot of money after he has not been particularly good in recent years. Granlund is going to get more money than that i would expect. Canes will not get a 2nd back for gardiner, likely would have to slip the picks in that deal

A. no to Holtby.
B. Bean would be in Gardiner's sheltered role, not 2LD.
C. Montreal isnt interested and Gardiner would say no to them
D. Did I mention no to Holtby?

Definitely not Holtby, and Chicago would have to be pretty desperate to take Reimer.
It seems that Carolina has no obvious fix for net rn

Acquiring Granlund is a good move though tbh,
Canes could use somebody with his skills in the position.
