Description

Trying to find 2 cheap options to play in the top 9. Also guys who could jump into the top 6 when needed. The 3rd line needs to have some speed and skill. Both Haula and Duclair have that. I am sure both will be taking 1-2 year deals and looking to get paid in a year or two. Both guys have cap predictions under 2.3. So there was some backing to my numbers. If we can't land either of these guys i would be looking at Wennberg and Anastasiou. AA i would be offering less than 2 mil though. Wennberg i would prob do the same.

Haula probably getting more than that. They don't have money for 2 wingers, and I doubt they go after Duclair. He doesn't play defense.

Yes, agree with that. Also, it doesn't fit with the new financial plan in PITT, I think a 3mil+ salary still has to go, with a couple of less quality league minimum vets coming in (Rust? Zucker? Mattheson?). I would expect a cap with as much as 3-5 mil wiggle room
