Flames don't need more 3rd line LW's

I hope Tanev goes for that little. Maybe its not the Flames who get Johnsson but something like that might be somewhat realistic if they can get Tanev at that number.

I think anybody thinking Tanev is going to show up and help us on the first pair is looking through very rose-coloured glasses. He didn't have great on-ice effects last year and hasn't proven consistently good at suppressing shots in any season. He has a reputation as a great defensive player because he blocks shots. He'd be better at defence if he PREVENTED shots, not blocked them. Not to mention his penchant for being injured.

We need to add more to that bottom-6 to make them useful, instead of overpaying Pat Maroon because he's big and played on Tampa.
