Obviously more moves need to be made but what do you guys think about swapping Strome for a goalie then picking up a true 3C in free agency like Wennberg. Id sign him for 2-2.8mil AAV but it wouldnt let me change the current cap hit he has now.

I got to hear the justification on how Korpi is the better goalie than Murray.

Strome is more valuable than Korpi. You're giving up way too much there. I wouldn't mind moving store to replace with Turris/wennberg though if the value was right on strome. If we only get Domi value back then forget about it

Whether or not the value is fair, the fit is wrong for Columbus. Now that we've added Domi, our C lineup is Dubois-Domi-Jenner-Grigorenko. Is that perfect? Of course not. But our larger need is for a top-notch scoring LW. So this deal is DOA for us. If Chicago would consider trading DeBrincat, that could prompt us to build a deal around Korpi, one of our D (so you don't have to rely on multiple rookies), maybe a goalie prospect or something... but Strome isn't a fit anymore.
