I was slightly baffled when Bergevin traded for Edmundson and than sign him to the current contract now it’s a cap crunch. Hopefully he has a solid year and gets taken in the expansion draft.
Hall signing close to home on a very reasonable contract with some term.
Before you jump on me about Arizona trade their pick was forfeited.
Meier for Tatar trade kinda reminds me of the pacioretty trade worked out for both teams
Top 3 lines are stacked but we still have to move a body out to get under the cap. It’s doable but ya Edmundson was a mistake imo

I dunno it's a pretty decent offer, but Tatar only being signed for another year is just not a great thing for us. We need top 6 forwards that don't also come at the the expense of other top 6 forwards. Also SJ does think highly of Meier, so it would have to probably be a "knock your socks off" sort of offer for us to move him.

Yeah I never doubted that Ben Chiarot was a good pick last summer however I doubted both Alzner and Edmundson's contracts when they happened... I'll give the last guy a chance to prove himself but It just looks like the critics on Alzner's game in Washington are the same for Edmundson in Carolina - slow and not a threat offensively.
