Wings not taking that for 12 million over two years for a 36 year old defensman. I beleive we are all set at defense after free agency.

Ottawa declines so hard. Leddymakes 13.5 million next two seasons. Good luck moving that contract

I know, wishful thinking. He was very good in the playoffs though and could help them reach the floor. Guess, Isles would have to add pieces like Bode Wilde and get maybe in 6th in return.

Boychuk makes only 7m in real cash over the two years and is still a capable 7th D to guide the youth. I think he will be easier to move than Leddy personally.

Yes, this will never happen unfortunately. Leddy plus Bode Wilde plus a 3rd for a 5th or 6th could make it work maybe.

That is why we got Staal and his 4.5 million. Makes zero sense to take on his deal and we got a better return.
