Ya, after signing Bogosian, Liligeren, maybe Sandin too, will start the year as Marlies.

Sandin has proven he is a full time NHL player. Liljegren may have been shaky but he's already better than Bogosian in my opinion. This is all assuming Dermott doesn't sign with the leafs.

What doe Engvall offer that would cause the Note to be interested in acquiring him?

Engvall is a solid bottom 6 option who has the misfortune of playing on the leafs. We could save the extra 300K and have options to replace him, hes 6'5, kills penalties and is a decent skater. decision making is questionable. Depth forward for you guys.

Because Kerfoot would be our 15th NHL forward, we literally have no space for him (or his contract for that matter). Meanwhile, Firstov is looking to be a promising prospect, and we need to use the 2nd to continue building our prospect pool and get more chances at higher end players.

Let's just say that is true (I disagree) - I D-core of Rielly-Brodie, Muzzin - Lehtonen, Sandin - LIljegren is far too soft to not get walked all over. Especially Sandin - Liljegren. That is why they brought in Bogo. There is zero chance they are not intending for him to be in the lineup.

I was working off the fact Minnesota is in desperate need of a centre. Kerfoot at times was arguably our 5th-6th best forward and was the only player going when the big 4 wasn't. Hes a proven player and definatley deserves more recognition. Top 6 upside and could be useful on your second line. I was basing this also off of the Kapanen trade since he got a 1st and a good prospect I would assume Kerfoot could demand around the same price.

We don't desperately need centers. We need good centers, yes. We have plenty of centers of Kerfoot's caliber.

Kerfoot can be a 50 point player with the right linemates. Majority of the time he was playing with Kapanen and Spezza.

Maybe, but so can Johansson, Bonino, Bjugstad, maybe even Eriksson Ek.

I'm not going to sit here and argue with you. The Wild don't need nor want Kerfoot and have no incentive to trade Firstov and a 2nd for him.
