As a Detroit fan, AA shouldn’t get near as much as Strome. With how some other signings have gone, $2M f or AA seems like a fair risk to take, maybe $2.25 on a 1 year deal if a GM really likes his speed.

I was gonna go 2 mil on his deal. Thanks for the input!

All these trades make sense. I don't like the hoffman signing even for 2 years; every time he steps on the ice the opposing team scores more goals despite him netting a bunch; he's such a one dimensional player. I get you are filling a hole though. We should've picked up Taffoli; that would be a great short term 3 or 4 year signing.

I figured as much. De haan can really be traded anywhere. I just figured the bruins could use a serviceable LHD with Krug and chara possibly gone.

Most likely, and that’s fine by me if I have to add, cuz I’d actually try to keep lindholm Long term, so at least he’d be worth the investment.

I’ll be honest, part of the appeal of signing him for two years is just him being trade bait and building draft capital. If he works out for us, perfect, we can sell high. However, part of his appeal is that at least he can play with either toews or Dach who compensate for his lack of defense.

Anaheim will soon need to decide whether Lindholm will be wearing the jersey past 21/22 season, or be moved for picks and prospects.

Kesler’s contract will be done the same time, so the Ducks will have money available to resign him. Getzlaf’s contract end’s this coming season, so the Ducks will have cap room coming soon.

That being said, the decision to resign Lindholm shouldn’t be a financial constraint, and I think it would take a lot to persuade Murray to pull the trigger and make a deal.

What is offered imo, is a start, but there should be a draft pick ... a 1st, or a 2nd and a prospect.

If adding a 2nd to the package I have started would put the deal through, I’ll gladly do it.
