I 100% agree, if there wasn't an offer he had a good buyout contract. I would've rather bought out Leddy kept Toews and Boychuk than not trade leddy and trade toews and Boychuk

I feel bad for y’all because this was a fleece but I’m mad at my own team for not stepping up and surpassing that offer. I though you guys would have got way more in return for him

They should have gotten at least a top forward prospect. It’s unreal how bad this was for the isles -
