I see what you're getting for Kuznetsov and two 1st picks. Don't you want anything for Orlov?

Kopitar likely doesn't though. NMC and all.

It's a NTC not NMC. Very limited might I add.

Edit: Caps might be one of the 7 teams on his list. wink Spoke too soon...sorry.

I suspect he'll pick 7 teams that have no cap space and tons of center depth. Once you live in Manhattan Beach, it's tough to live anywhere else.

If Orlov's defense bothers you, Schultz with Fehervary is gonna be great. Actually, if you move Schultz to his off-side, you've got three defensively decent RHD there. Means one less kid develops. Fehervary was good last year, but I bet Alexeyev comes back from the KHL ready to play. Should be a good camp.

Yeah. He might enjoy rebuilding. Who knows?

Hey, while we're all discussing a WSH/LA blockbuster, and lamenting WSH's RHD depth, why not just Kuznetsov and Jensen for Doughty? Then WSH counts on one of McMichael/Protas to play 3C the next three years on ELC, and has a really good blue line, on each side.

My sister lives in DC. Not sure I'd wish that place upon anyone.

Orlov doesn't bother me at all. But he's a LHD. Don't give me that off side crap either. :P Mark my word, Schultz is gonna look like a fool in DC.

I like Eller as a 3C, but as a full time 2C I'm a little sketched out. I also am one of the few who is low on McMichael. Size matters for a center in the NHL and he just doesn't have it. Protas...maybe. but his numbers in the KHL right now are underwhelming.

I don't see a rookie Connor McMichael playing a shift without Hathaway or Wilson. Protas has the language advantage and could play nicely between Ovechkin and Zykov.

Zykov??

Speedy Russian UFA wing, played near league minimum the last few years. Was good with Svechnikov, but bad with a bunch of 4th lines the next few years. If Kuznetsov's out, Ovechkin, Protas, Zykov woudl be a cheap way to throw together a scoring line.
