The answer to what? He's a complementary piece. The 2023 picks if they ever come to fruition won't be before 2026. I see you need a top 6 LW and I'm giving you someone that might click with Turcotte. Drouin never played with a real 1C on a consistent basis. Domi is the best C he ever played with and he got 54 pts flanking him.

Nope. Kings don't need or want Drouin even with the extra picks. Having control over where your team's salary cap is more important now than just to get a few extra picks to take 5.5m for the next three years.
