I don’t know the contract lengths off the top of my head or AAV, but I’d think the 1st would be sufficient for the pair to be dumped

yea the 1st would likely be enough.

Also Granlund would probably not come back to MN, that's not the direction the wild seem to want to go in. Plus he's not a C.

I added the third because rasks contract is for an extra year

yea this is just one example. I don't really watch the wild or predators that much and he was listed as a centre so I just put him there. If he normally plays wing then yea they'd try and get someone else. I just thought it would be funny for Granlund and fiala to play together

This would be a deal the Wild would do if they were up against the cap ceiling. They are no longer in cap trouble and aren’t seriously contending. They can afford to keep both for the remainder of their contracts.

I think it just gives them more cap flexibility right now which could help them a lot at the deadline if they need.
