I think our D might be fine with what we have, though if we needed a 3rd pairing, more experienced d-man we might have to move BSD. Or re-sign Stone...we're already paying him anyway.

That is a really poor return. I would not do that trade just for Dadonov Also you are short 3 roster players with only 1M cap space

Is it required to build a 23 man roster or can a team elect to do a 22?

22 can usually work, 23 is ideal, 21 is a really bad idea, 20 is stupidity
