A 4th goalie and a 4th line C??? I'd think the draft picks are going the wrong way if that's the Ottawa deal. Cap dumps became much more expensive once Casino signed....

Rittich becoimes a 1B golaie for ottawa when urray inevitably doesnt pay off for the contract that they have given him. Ryan is a 3rd/4th line centre who adds veteran and dressing room presence that is seriously lacking in ottawa.

at any rate this was a excercise to see if calgary could sign hoffman not wether irrelevant trades would work. calgary could shop any othe guys i traded to any team in the league to receive the same return
