I don't think Chicago has any reason to do this. Russell can barely hold his own in the league but De Haan is a regular.

I doubt chaisson would get buried and the bear contract is too long. I also feel like you should retain on russull instead of de haan

Hm I'd love the Bear deal if he had more potential but I see what he is now as his apex -for Yamamoto after his ELC for instance would be absolutely brilliant- however it's nice to see 8 year term given to where it's deserved (good quality NHLers at around 22-23)

russell deal is half the length of the dehaan deal, thats why i retianed with chicago. i could do the other way around but given the rebuilding going on in chicago i thought thered be incentive to have a shorter deal

dehaan has two years left and russell only had one. theyre both third pairing guys at this point and russell is in the lineup way more often. i like dehaans fit on the third pair with barrie is all
