The leafs offered Dermott 895k. If someone offers him over 1.4M the leafs will let him walk and take the 3rd round pick compensation. NO way they pay him 1.5M. Obviously he didn’t sign the 895k offer sheet yet but he’s not gonna get more than 1M/year from Toronto. And he’s not arbitration eligible.

And Mikheyev is arbitration eligible and has a hearing next week I believe. He will probably win something like 1.5-2M a year
