I doubt that Winnipeg really wants Malkin and a 9M contract or whatever he makes no matter how good he is!

I think winnipeg would love to have malkin on their team. Then again so would any team in the league, but malkin cost 9 million and there is a reason why superstars never get traded and contracts are usually the main reason why. Along with that and teams either overvalue or undervalue the superstar by a country mile. Personally basing this off talent alone pens get shafted by giving up a superstar and a reliable d man for a young arrogant punk who doesnt want to play for his team, and an above average center. Little is maybe a top 20 center talent where malkin is top 5-7. Either way one is elite and the other is above average. Throw in a trash player like thorburn only help winnipeg.
