Damn, if that’s the return, I say yes in a heart beat. No take backs.

That would be terrible for Buff. Losing 2 top 6 wingers, a promising 2C, a d prospect and first rounder. Love Kane and he is amazing but that just is not worth it for Buff. I would do Mittelstadt, Risto, Ruotsolainen, and 2 firsts.

Take out Cozens then, and no salary retention for Okposo?

It's gonna take an overpay to get kane. He's not going anywhere. Plus there's no chance he'd waive for buffalo. He will want to win.

i feel like everyone is forgetting that kane is from the heart of buffalo. he grew up a sabres fan and went to all the playoff games during the glory days. he knows how much the sabres mean to buffalo and he wants to bring a winning culture back to his hometown.

The tavares argument is boring and almost never happens. Kane is a stat geek. He's probably got his eye on every hawks franchise record more than wanting to go back to the place where he catches fake rape accusations.

Even with a questionable defence (although Dahlin will take another step forward), a more questionable bottom six, and an even more questionable goaltending duo, you would have to imagine that that top six of Hall-Eichel-Olofsson/Skinner-Staal-Kane is guaranteed to make the playoffs.

Yeah. It breaks down to 4 firsts for Kane then 2 seconds and a third to take most of Okposo's contract.

no it breaks down to a promising young sniper who will be in the sabres top 6, a consistent 55 point player who has unlimited potential, the next brayden point, a solid bottom 4 defenseman in the future, and a high first round pick for patrick kane.

The Mother's victim planting evidence to strengthen their case to extort Kane wasn't fake either which is why it got tossed out and charges dropped. The Mother was facing a felony as a result of what she did. That speaks volumes to the validity of the accusations.

I don't think "unlimited potential" or "Brayden Point" are realistic takes. There's a lot of "maybe" there.
