Even if the trades are fair, having Fleury in Winnipeg just transfers a similar problem to the Jets. Jets might want to keep their young goalie Hellebuyck but now they have the Pens dllemmna a young goalie Murray and a Fleury....who gets protected for the expansion draft.

That's a good point but I don't know that it's true. My understanding is that MAF waiving his NTC and then being traded would then void it. He would no longer have a NTC that forces him to be protected.
