Description
I want every hawks fan to get this straight: this team IS NOT rebuilding. Period. End of story. As long as toews, Kane, and Keith are around, this is simply the same story as the last three years. Anyone who points to LA on me, simply look at the contracts and regression of their top stars save for Kopitar. Also, I have no earthly idea of what bowman considers youth anymore. Zadorov at 25 is not youth when you have beaudin and Carlsson behind him on the left side. Why would trade for zadorov and get no picks instead of playing those two? Give them time! Especially if you’re going youth. Let’s also not forget two very important things in all this: development and Colliton. Easy one first: Colliton is a **** coach who hasn’t deserved his rumored extension and in all honestly is the absolute worst influence on the younger players, boqvist especially. With development, the Blackhawks have been ABSURDLY bad at developing talent in the six years. In fact, I’d argue this may be the biggest downfall of this team because they haven’t developed any depth in the last six years and that has crushed the hawks. Just brutal.

Stop giving bowman passes rocky, this is an original six franchise and all you’re doing is enabling this guy. That’s a terrible look for an almost 95 year old franchise.

Kane is going to have considerable interest if you retain a large amount. With that said that offer is extreme. No way the canes give all of that especially not necas. Take necas out and the deal is decently close I guess

Thanks for the explanation. It’s kinda strange but necas never seems like the breaking point in other trades I’ve made, Suzuki is. But I appreciate the elaboration.

Necas has far more value than Suzuki. Necas has a great rookie season in a pretty sheltered role. With more playing time on the 2nd line he easily has 55-60 point upside this upcoming season

I would make the offer of Dzingle, Suzuki, Bokk, 2021 1st, 2022 2nd

That’s not bad at all and honestly I’d be inclined to take that. Only My counter would be sub bokk for Gunler.

Is the Tampa RFA situation that bad that they’ll give away their 2021 first round pick?!?

At this point, absolutely. They still gotta sign three high profile RFAs and barely have enough money to sign one.
