8D makes a lot of sense for this club. They have a lot of young defensemen who could use some experience/opportunity. Could see them going with 8D and 3G, even.

New assistant said today multiple times they’re probably going with 8D. Makes sense to me too

I don't think three goalie rotations work well at all, not to mention the cap constraints the team has currently. Not gonna waste the cap/roster space on an extra goaltender when you have two very capable, starting quality goaltenders in Lundqvist and Samsonov.
